Uggghhh the grind of going to the hospital has taken it's toll. Sooo ready to go home. Not the greatest day for me mentally but for Wyatt it was another banner day, that's all that matters. He is acting more and more like a full term baby. Waking and crying at feeding time etc. He is 37 weeks now. His nightly weigh in from Sunday and he gained, 1,636 grams. Also, the labs were in on his hematocrit level showing it increased and he is able to make red blood cells very well. This is great, no blood transfusion the iron supplement is working.
Huge decisions on his 2 month series of vaccinations. I don't want to bombard his little body with 5 vaccines if not necessary right now or given all together. I want to come up with an alternative plan.
Monday evening tubby time lifted my spirits. He is such a doll and had the funniest expressions on his face while I gave him a bath. Craig should have been there with his camera. He missed a ton of good shots. Craig will get back into town from VA just in time to turn around and go back. NO biggie because it means we are going to the "ZOO!" We will miss seeing our families more often and it will take a moment to readjust not living with awesome Uncle Lewis and Tommy, but we couldn't be more excited.

Great news!!! Hang in there, you are almost on your way to the Zoo! See you all soon!
Thank-you for sharing your blog. I'm so happy he has done so well, I'm totally amazed since I have a friend who has two grandchildren that were premmies and they had a much harder time, but they are doing wonderful now. Wishing you all many many wonderful years with your son.
